Can I Update A Dell Win7 Home Premium With A Win7 Home Premium Sp1 Disk

I have windows vii Abode Premium SP1 and recently I installed lightscribe software to enable that function in my I/O Magic DVD multirecorder, but when trying to update the DVD commuter, I get a message saying that the commuter has been found but some portion of the installation failed.  At that time I discovered that at that place was a trouble with the Net Admission Server and trying to update it'due south driver I encountered the same problem noted above.  I idea perhaps I should try to repair the Win vii installation, simply I've managed to lose the disk.  Additionally, my production ID has OEM in it.
